Trump is running down his list of administration appointees, landing this week on Brendan Carr as the new pick for Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chair.

President-elect Donald Trump tapped Republican Brendan Carr, an Elon Musk-backed critic of big tech, to lead the FCC, calling Carr a "warrior for Free Speech."

Carr, the senior Republican on the agency, has of late embraced the president-elect's ideas about social media and tech.
